Xofluza is a prescription medicine used to treat the flu (influenza) in people 12 years of age and older who have had flu symptoms for no more than 48 hours.

Xofluza belongs to a group of drugs called antivirals. These work by stopping the flu virus from growing and replicating by inhibiting viral protein production.

This medication comes in tablet (oral) form and is taken as a single dose, with or without food.

Common side effects of Xofluza include diarrhea, headache, nausea, and bronchitis.
