Tezspire is a prescription medicine used with other asthma medicines for the maintenance treatment of severe asthma in people 12 years of age and older. Tezspire helps prevent severe asthma attacks (exacerbations) and can improve your breathing.

Tezspire belongs to a group of drugs called TSLP blockers. It is believed to work by targeting and blocking TSLP, a key substance that initiates an overreactive immune response to a variety of types of airway inflammation associated with severe asthma.

Tezspire is injected under your skin (subcutaneously) 1 time every 4 weeks, in a healthcare setting.

Common side effects include sore throat, back pain and joint pain.
