Summer Fire Safety Tips

Using Fireworks

When lighting fireworks, never allow any part of your body to be directly over the fireworks. Only light one firework at a time and don’t try to relight fireworks that don’t light correctly on the first try. This is a sign of a faulty device. If you’re near a professional who is lighting fireworks, be careful and stand several feet away. Fireworks can backfire or shoot in the wrong direction — even when a professional is lighting them.
