Qulipta is a prescription medication used for the preventative treatment of migraines. This medication belongs to a group of drugs called calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) receptor antagonists. It is thought to work by blocking the effects of CGRP, a protein believed to be a cause of migraine headaches.
Qulipta comes in tablet form. It is taken by mouth once daily, with or without food.
